Reverend Joseph officiates at Civil Unions making them Holy Unions as well. Same gender (preferred over "same sex") Civil Unions became legal in New Jersey effective 2-19-07. A New York State law legalizing same gender weddings went into effect June 24, 2011. All races, faiths or lifestyles are served and Reverend Joseph believes that all people should be received and celebrated as God's children with an "Open Mind, Open Heart and Open Arms." He officiates at ceremonies in New Jersey, NYC and the Hudson Valley.
Domestic Partnerships and Commitment Ceremonies are also performed in areas where same gender Civil Unions or Weddings are not now legal but the couple wants to commit to each other in a spiritual union.
As he does with mixed gender weddings, all ceremonies are individually designed with each partner's circumstance taken into consideration. Some may have children from previous relationships while others may have adopted a child together.
